HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD
Library cards are FREE! Residents of the State of Iowa can obtain a library card by presenting proof of current address, phone number and photo verification. Children’s cards are issued in the children’s department with a parent’s signature. For the first month, there is a limit of two items checked out at a time.
Books may be checked out for 2 weeks, with one renewal. There is no limit on how many books. The overdue fine is .20/day (adult) and .10/day (children’s).
Movies may be checked out for 2 days, with one renewal. There is a limit of 6. The overdue fine is $1.50 per day.
The library is governed by a Board of Trustees which meets once a month.
